1. Minutes of the last meeting: these were read and agreed as an accurate record.

3. New members: it was noted that applications to join the league had been received from Cheddar, Uphill Castle and Imperial and it was unanimously resolved that these applications should be accepted; therepresentatives of the clubs present were welcomed.

4. Representative games: reports of these games were given as follows:

Batley & Dewsbury (u15) (Tony Willoughby). The game, played at Failand, was lost but the
opposition was strong and contained some older boys.

Inter-league festival (u17) (Tony Brown on behalf of Tony Slocombe). This was staged jointly by Claverham and Congresbury and the final was won by the league, largely due to a fine century by Sam Trego (W-S-M).

Bristol & District (u15) (Roy Jennings). This was played at Cleeve and the league lost a close game.

"Pick of the League" -v- SCA (u13) (Pete Williams). Played at W-S-M, the league achieved a comprehensive win which was a fine result.

"Pick of the League" -v- SCA (u11) (Kevin Stafford). Played at W-S-M and again kindly sponsored by the Grand Pier Company. The league narrowly failed to win the trophy back in the low scoring game.

Bristol & District (u13) (Simon Hopkinson). The league won this game played at Coalpit Heath.

League (u17) -v- SCA (u16) (Tony Brown on behalf of Tony Slocombe). In a game where over 500 runs were scored at Claverham, the league team lost narrowly.

Thanks were expressed to the managers, those organising on the day and the clubs hosting the fixtures. A wish was expressed for balls to be supplied and scorebooks kept for representative games in future years.
